In November former Sundsvall girl/daughter Helen Sjöholm releases the first album in her own name in eight years. The album is naturally followed by a tour of Sweden, which appropriately enough begins in the old home town.
– It turned out to be so fortunate that the premiere will take place Sundsvall, says Carina Enberg, press contact for the tour.

Right now Helen Sjöholm is working on the sequel to the hit album from 2002, ”Visor”, the first album in her own name in eight years.  Sjöholm recently signed a contract with Universal Music and plans to release the album in November.  The album is of course followed by a tour and yesterday the production company Music & Artist Service announced that the premiere takes place in Tonhallen on January 29.
– That really wasn’t a demand on her part but rather a lucky coincidence. Naturally Helen is very happy that it turned out that way, she would of course love to perform in Sundsvall, Carina Enberg, press contact for the tour, says.

Helen Sjöholm was unfortunately not available for comment yesterday, as she was busy with the rehearsals of The Stockholm City Theatre production of Harry Martinsson’s “Aniara”. The play is the City Theatre’s major focus this autumn, with music written by Andreas Kleerup. “Aniara” premieres on October 21st.
