Dance tickets for Benny Andersson Band – An Evening at Circus:

All Things Live

Duration of the concert: approximately 2 hours without intermission

Little did the motley group of musicians who gathered in Metronome Studio, now Atlantis Studio, in Stockholm in 2001 know that this was the starting point for one of Sweden’s most ambitious and multifaceted dance bands. Today, 23 years later, we know that Benny Anderson had called in just the right mix of cheerful and curious musicians:

  • Göran Arnberg – Keyboards
  • Janne Bengtson – Flute, piccolo and baritone sax
  • Jogga Ernlund – Double bass and electric bass
  • Pär Grebacken – Alto and tenor saxophone, clarinet and recorder flute
  • Leif Göras – Violin
  • Calle Jakobsson – Tuba, trombone
  • Leif Lindvall – Trumpet
  • Kalle Moraeus – Acoustic guitar, electric guitar, banjo, fiddle and mandolin
  • Olle Moraeus – Violin
  • Perra Moraeus – Violin and alto saxophone
  • Lars Rudolfsson – Accordion
  • Jörgen Stenberg – Drums and percussion

And! With Helen Sjöholm and Tommy Körberg as chorus singers. Because it is as Benny said;

– There is no point in having a good song if you don’t have a good artist who can sing it and good musicians who can play.

In connection with the concert, BAO will release a newly recorded single –  Vårarna som försvann (music Benny Andersson / lyrics Björn Ulvaeus) – a sample from the upcoming album with newly written material, which will be released in the fall.

Vårarna som försvann (Springtimes that disappeared)
