On Thursday evening, the Culture quarter’s main hall was full. Outside, the rain poured down, but indoors, spring winds blew fresh (reference to song title Vårvindar friska, editor’s note).
Already in the opening number, the popular artist Helen Sjöholm captured the audience with her cry of spring. More songs followed, one as old as 300 years and beyond Jag har bara ögonblick (I only have moments) that she wanted to spend this evening with the audience in Kristianstad.
– You can just relax and dream a little with us, urged Helen Sjöholm.
By her side she had the musician Rickard Nilsson. They also offered music from her new album En ny tid (A new time) and when she came up with her parade number Du måste finnas (You have to be there) from Kristina from Duvemåla, she received loud applause and elicited cheers.
