IN CD SHELF…
…Helen Sjöholm – current these days with her new CD Euforia, where she interprets Billy Joel.

Among my first discs…
– The first album (LP) I got was Maritza Horn’s “Doom and gloom” in 1978. I was 8 and loooved her broadside versions! Dramatic stories like Lion tamer’s daughter, The dying child and While the dance goes. ” I was blown away and taught me the CD in no time…

One of the records I listened to most is…
– The CD I listened to most over the years is Tracy Chapman’s Crossroads. Loved it when it came in the late 80’s and think it keeps returning to, again and again. Great songs; Crossraods, Be careful of my heart, Bridges and others.

This artist / band takes the highest place in my collection…
– The artist who occupies the highest place in the record collection is Monica Zetterlund. I have most of what she has recorded. A great woman!

This is probably a bit unbacked in my collection…
– An unbacked CD in the shelf is probably the Vikingarna – Cuddly songs. I got it as a gift.

This record should more people discover…
– More people should discover Äppelkväll (Apple Night) – Monika Törnell sings Lennart Hellsing. Lovely compositions of Hellsing, Monika’s voice is her own and is always concerning you!

Among the last records I bought is…
– Will hardly remember when I last bought a physical CD. Never been a big consumer – more sentimental listening to a lot of old favorites for a long time. I like silence, I´m not the kind of person who turns on music / radio the first thing I do when I get home. Last purchase was via iTunes; Tröstevisa with Cajsa Stina Åkerström. I was going to learn it before a concert. Nice song!
