Cornelis at Cirkus – A weekend of tribute to a Swedish icon
On November 27–29, 2025, some of Sweden’s most beloved artists gathered at Cirkus in Stockholm to honor the poet, provocateur and romantic Cornelis – in word, music and spirit.
During three concerts, the audience encountered three sides of Cornelis – the romantic, the social critic and the funny bastard. The weekend ended with an awards concert, where this year’s Cornelis Prize was awarded. The prize has been awarded since 1988 to artists and songwriters who work in the spirit of Cornelis – with integrity, artistic sharpness and a personal expression that doesn’t shy away from the friction of life.
Helen performed on Thursday, November 27.
