Helen was awarded the royal medal “Litteris et Artibus”.
“Litteris et Artibus” means science and art and the medal was founded in 1853 by Crown Prince Carl XV. The medal is awarded for outstanding artistic efforts in mainly music, stage production and literature.
“I was very surprised. It’s a very nice award, something you get very proud of. I have been working for many years now and it would be a good thing. It makes me happy, Helen said in an interview with Swedish Radio.
The medal ceremony was held at Drottningholm Castle on June 12, 2018.
