It was packed and it\u2019s not very surprising. Because if you\u2019ve read some of the previous reviews, she has been raised to the skies and rightly so.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition she\u2019s good looking, and does a lot of funny small talk. Although she initially talked about the doctor\u2019s admonition, \u201cDon\u2019t talk, just sing and be happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sunday evening\u2019s concert included both old and new. Helen sings ballads, pop, and musical – she does everything with panache. She also sang a rock song that she did very well, more of that please. But I can\u2019t help thinking that she is most amazing when she sings musical and there was unfortunately too few such songs.<\/p>\n

With her on tour Helen has four great musicians: Martin \u00d6stergren on piano and choir, Jojje Wadenius on guitar and choir, Ulric Johanson on bass and double bass and Tomas Bergquist on drums and synth. Jojje Wadenius should feel at home in UKK\u2018s premises since it was his third appearance this week.<\/p>\n

We got a little taste of material from Benny Andersson, Tomas Andersson Wij, Tracy Chapman, Billy Joel and Joni Mitchell. Helen says that she cannot decide what she should sing and therefore it has become a huge variety of songs.<\/p>\n

Sj\u00f6holm said her first paid assignment was to mime to Lasse Berghagens\u2019 \u201cBeh\u00e5samlaren Knut\u201d for which she got 20 crowns from the housewive association Marta. We were also treated to a couple of instrumental songs, Jojje Wadenius played his \u201cK\u00e4rleksmorgon\u201d and Martin \u00d6stergren \u201dHanna flies\u201d. Standing ovations and cheers from the audience ended the concert.<\/p>\n

But they did two encores:
\nOne a cappella \u2013 a hilarious and filthy little story about horny Maja and \u201cDu \u00e4r min man\u201d. Here she told a funny anecdote from a gig in Sk\u00e5ne. There was a man who came up and said \u201cYou do sing that song. If you don\u2019t sing it \u2013 they will kill you\u201d \u2013 which understandably didn\u2019t sound very tempting so it had to be that one \u2013 \u201cDu \u00e4r min man\u201d also in that concert.<\/p>\n
