\nEuforia – Helen Sj\u00f6holm sings Billy Joel<\/strong><\/p>\n

POP<\/strong> The Billy Joel songs that touched Helen Sj\u00f6holm’s heart is not just the obvious classics.<\/p>\n

No “Just the way you are” among her swedification, but a pleasurable selection of songs, sensitively interpreted by Tomas Andersson Wij. It sounds more Helen Sj\u00f6holm than Billy Joel, even if she is faithful to his heavenly harmonies.<\/p>\n

Interesting hand-picked rarities, but also convincing versions of evergreens like “Piano man” (“Barpianisten”) and “She’s Always a Woman” (“Kvinnan f\u00f6r dig”). And one of Billy Joel’s most lovely, “New York state of mind”, now a touching romantic paean to the city.<\/p>\n
