A newly written Swedish musical in a grand staging. A competent ensemble and good music. It\u00b4s impressive. On top of this, the fantastic Helen Sj\u00f6holm with fire in her voice and the veteran Tommy K\u00f6rberg with the charm on.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fanny and Zac, who come from Berlin on a motorcycle, are today iconic Swedish movie characters. They shake up the small Swedish society and scare the inhabitants with their different lifestyle. Fanny is also the heir to the farm House of Angels, the unknown daughter, whom no one knew existed.<\/p>\n

The strong ensemble holds the show together and several do good solo numbers. But what makes House of Angels<\/em> raise is Tommy K\u00f6rberg and Helen Sj\u00f6holm.<\/p>\n

K\u00f6rberg plays the good-natured old man Gottfrid, open and happy towards the “intruders” in the village. He seems to love his figure and creates an atmosphere as soon as he enters the stage. When Gottfrid and his grumpy brother Ivar (Gustav Levin) in the middle of the first act tear off En enkel gubbe (A simple old man)<\/em> with caps on sway and small dance steps, then the salon get feeling (…)<\/p>\n

Helen Sj\u00f6holm’s Rut is the nerve of the musical in a series of moving song numbers. She has a huge voice, presses with surprising force and yet you hear every word. When Rut goes on a furious attack on Fanny and when she has a showdown duet with Axel (Fredrik Lykke), then things take hold. She also leads the village’s gossiping aunties in funny Sticka sticka (Knit, knit)<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Tuva B Larsen, who plays vulgarly sexy Fanny, has the right charisma and sings with a naturalness, best in somewhat melancholy numbers. Zac only has one solo number, Poor little rich girl<\/em>, but there Lindy Larsson shows her international routine (…)<\/p>\n

Fredrik Kempe has written good music, varied melodies, small happy choruses and the director Edward af Sill\u00e9n delivers a beautifully staged musical.<\/p>\n
