Expressen Fiddler Music Prize went to the singer and musician Helen Sj\u00f6holm, 40.  – I’m really excited, she says.<\/strong><\/p>\n

… Is it nice to be a musician?<\/strong><\/em>
\n– I do not know if it’s nice, I’m primarily a singer, but being a musician is to be in music in every way – to create, arrange, improvise.<\/p>\n

How did you find your own sound?<\/strong> <\/em>
\n– The first time I found the sound I think was in my dad’s sheet metal workshop in Sundsvall. Everyone has probably a voice, but I found it there. There was a delay and a sound that was fantastic. I was twelve or thirteen years old then.<\/p>\n

What advice would you give to all young people who want to be a Helen Sj\u00f6holm?  <\/strong><\/em>
\n– There are no recipes, just dare to trust your own musicality and find your own expression.<\/p>\n

\nWith remarkable candor her voice expresses the meaning of the songs, whether creator is Andersson, Taube, Martinson, Moberg or Joel. Whether she is located at the City Theatre stage floor or on the Swedish charts.<\/p>\n
