FALK\u00d6PING. At last she came to Falk\u00f6ping, for the first concert after the arrival of the twins. The Sundsvall girl with the warm, bubbly happy and grand voice. Mother of three, honorary doctor and Guldbagge winner Helen Sj\u00f6holm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She moves as homely in Falk\u00f6ping and Mora as in New York and London, and has seduced us in Kristina, Chess and My Fair Lady, and whom we have enjoyed in the film melody Gabriella’s song and all the other pearls.<\/p>\n

Without much fanfare she enterd the City Theatre stage on Sunday. Together with her pianist Martin \u00d6stergren she opened the Missionary Church charity concert with H\u00e4r \u00e4r gudagott att vara (It’s divine to be here) by Wennerberg. And soon it felt like that.<\/p>\n

Success story<\/strong>
\nThen a rich cavalcade followed. Horgal\u00e5ten, (Hear the tunes going through the trees) H\u00f6rberg’s Med \u00f6gon k\u00e4nsliga f\u00f6r gr\u00f6nt (With eyes sensitive to green), and much more. Duvem\u00e5la of course and other musical songs, film melodies, hits and selections from her CD albums. She sang Abba’s Money, Money and the mega hit from the Swedish charts Du \u00e4r min man (You are my man), love song Somliga s\u00e4ger (Some say; song title Summer cards) and Jeremiah from Tr\u00f6stl\u00f6sa’s gentle song Man borde inte sova n\u00e4r natten faller p\u00e5 (One shouldn’t sleep when the night falls).<\/p>\n

In between, she told us with distance and humor about her life, from her debut with Kjell L\u00f6nn\u00e5 to all the successes of today. Sometimes in the fullest expressive idiom.<\/p>\n

Martin \u00d6stergren accompanied superbly on the grand piano and you didn\u00b4t at all miss the major orchestras Helen Sj\u00f6holm often is surrounded by. When he was not playing he sang and whistled.

Intensive job<\/strong>
\nBehind the Missionary Church’s event there is intense work by the trio Stig-Olof Andersson, Ingvar Lennersten and Kjell Bertilsson. For the third time, they managed to engage businesses and individuals to provide Zimlat Primary School in Kenya the extra help they need. All in all it has become more than a million and this last time 360 000 SEK.<\/p>\n

An auction to come<\/strong>
\nAnd the auction of the high school furniture in a few days is not included yet. The L\u00f6fwing lithographs went to Stina L\u00f6nnmyr and Monika Sj\u00f6strand who had placed winning bids of 4100 and 3100 SEK respectively.<\/p>\n
